Polytag achieves 50% growth fuelled by strategic partnerships

15 DECEMBER – LONDON: Polytag, the award-winning tech company using advanced methods to transform recycling, has announced a strengthening of its team following a successful year where it has grown by 50%.

The company’s growth comes following a string of successful partnerships with UK retailers, Ocado Retail, Aldi and Co-op, alongside drinks brands such as the UK’s leading ethical drinks brand, One Water, and Welsh kombucha brand, Blighty Booch.

As part of the company’s ambitious growth plans, where it aims to help FMCG brands discover new packaging lifecycle data that can inform its sustainability plans, and remain a key player in the Digital Deposit Return Scheme area, the company has announced two key appointments.

Virlina Choquette, Head of Client Experience and Delivery at Polytag, comes with over ten years of experience in strategic delivery roles and leading successful partnerships with FMCG giants such as Nestlé and Coca-Cola, to support the execution of key projects.

Phil Bisby joins as Lead Developer Engineer, with eight years’ experience in manufacturing and engineering projects He will be responsible for testing and developing its data-capture technology, as well as investigating opportunities with AI image recognition within Material Recovery Facilities (MRF).
