Polytag has partnered with the recycling app Bower. The app rewards people for recycling using smartphone app technology. The partnership will give brands even more lifecycle data on their packaging, as well as encourage customers to recycle more.
Polytag is working with Bower and Ocado Retail to reward shoppers with 20p per item recycled from their own homes using the Bower app.
The Swedish app has recently launched in the UK and rewards users when they recycle everyday items. With Polytag, Bower is working to give larger rewards thanks to lower instances of fraud with Polytag’s uniqu-every-time QR codes.
Bower has 380,000+ users in the Nordic region and allows customers to recycle in order to generate coupons or money.
