Polytag sponsors Bread & Jam

The Drinks Event of the year hosted at the iconic Business Design Centre in Islington, North London. Attended by over 600+ drinks brands and proudly sponsored by Polytag.

Bread & Jam is the UK's largest community of emerging food and drink brands. Having supported the growth of thousands of ambitious challenger brands since 2016, Bread & Jam hosts an annual events bringing together 1000s of food founders, retailers, investors, industry experts and media.

It was a natural choice for Polytag to want to support this event and connect in person with many of our existing clients, and introduce ourselves to brands who have yet to discover Polytag!

Announcing six-month free trial

At the event Alice Rackley – Polytag CEO – presented the Polytag QR code solution on stage and announced six-month free access to the Polytag brand account services. Polytag services are easy to access through www.polytag.io and an account can be set-up in minutes. Once the six-month free trial has ended pricing plans start at just £10 per month.

Best value QR codes

Ric Exley and Alice Rackley were available on the Polytag stand for the duration of the event and enjoyed conversations with many new and established UK drinks brands. A number of demonstrations of the Polytag brand account dashboard were given throughout the day and it was clear from brand reactions that Polytag offers by far the most functionality than other QR code providers, and our analytics dashboards are second to none – making Polytag the best value QR code provider on the market today.

GS1 Approved Partner

Many small and large drinks brands took advantage of the six-month free trial. One of the clear benefits of using Polytag to generate, manage and host QR code and landing page content is that Polytag is a GS1 approved partner.

GS1 QR codes are the next generation barcode solution. Every QR code which Polytag generates for clients contains the barcode number (or GTIN) of the product. This means that brands can deliver barcode-level landing pages direct to consumers from the product label.

GS1 sponsored a tasting event – The Taste and Rate Bar - on the day which saw many small drinks brands submit samples for taste testing and scoring. Delighted to say that ** whiskey took the crown on the day and went home with the title prize of ‘favourite drink’! Needless to say Polytag is keen to supply them with QR code services – watch this space!

Barcode-level content

Hyper relevant content at barcode-level is a super effective and high-quality marketing and communications channel. Polytag QR codes achieve over 30 seconds average dwell time. This is way above the industry standard and is testament to the high quality and meaningful content which can be quickly and simply delivered.

Brands can build a landing page and within two-clicks download the QR code image (in svg. format) ready to be incorporated into their label artwork.

The landing page content not only acts like an endless label – enabling brands to share rich product benefit content, ingredient provenance stories and packaging sustainability information.  In addition, the landing page builder enables videos, link buttons and campaign content scheduling, all of which deliver a powerful customer engagement channel available at very low cost.

Landing page builder

The landing page builder also enables a ‘data capture form’ that can be used to run competitions and collect email addresses from customers linked to the precise product barcode they have scanned. This is information which brands have never been able to capture before, can drive highly-effective CRM strategy.

Polytag supports the UK drinks industry

Polytag is proud to support Bread & Jam and enjoyed talking to the drinks brands who were there on the day.
