Gold for Innovation of the Year
Our groundbreaking work alongside Ocado Retail Ltd earned us the Gold award for Innovation of the Year. We’re incredibly proud of this achievement, as it recognises the pioneering efforts behind Digital Deposit Return Scheme (DDRS) enablement.
This first-of-its-kind initiative has set a new standard for demonstrating the viability of a DDRS on a national scale. The results speak for themselves – in just 56 days, an astounding 20,000 rewards were claimed. This achievement underscores the significant consumer demand for a convenient and practical solution in the recycling realm. Read more about the project here.
Highly Commended for Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year
Polytag was also Highly Commended in the Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year category. This recognition is a testament to our partnership with Co-op and the successful project that followed.
We introduced QR Codes and UV Invisible Tags to Co-op’s products, unlocking a treasure trove of insights into packaging traceability. This opened up a new marketing channel, allowing us to connect directly with customers.
