Through our ongoing partnership with Ocado Retail and support from the recycling technology app, Bower, we generated 2.5 million unique serialised codes.

In just 56 days, we gave over 20,000 20p rewards as customers recycled their milk bottles!

With 80% of participants saying they would be ‘very likely’ to scan a QR code and digitally claim back a deposit in the future, we believe we have successfully proved the viability of a Digital Deposit Return Scheme (DDRS).
